Moltere Charles Jr. Memorial Scholarship
NOW ACCEPTING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS THROUGH 5/20/19
Scholarship applications will be available through Palm Beach County School's Guidance offices beginning the week of 3/4/19
Eligibility Requirements:
· Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Palm Beach County High School
· A minimum high school grade point average of 2.5 is required
· Applicant must have participated on a sports team for their high school at least one complete season
· A completed application must be submitted via email or fax by 5/20/19
· Financial need is not a requirement
Essay Requirements: Applicant is to type a 400-500 word essay on one of the following 3 topics:
1) Based on the field of study you have selected, what career are you pursing and how will you use your desired position/occupation to contribute to your community?
2) How has playing the sport you have participated in influenced your development as a leader?
3) Has gun violence affected your life? If so, what message would you share with community leaders about ways to make a difference?
Stop the Violence Anti-Violence Rallies
On March 9, 2019 and April 20, 2019 the families of Moltere Charles Jr. and Fred Rosemond staged "Guns Down" Anti-Violence Rallies. Stay Tuned to the website for future dates so that you can come out and support!
